Restarting Versaa Services

Always use the Versaa Installer for a graceful restart — individual services cannot be restarted safely in isolation.

Installer Locations

Environment Path
Live S:\Program Files\Aareon\OIM\Versaa\Installer
Test/Dev S:\Program Files\Aareon\Versaa\OIM\VersaaInstaller

Servers: - Live: AAREON-TCH01 - Test/Dev: AAREON-TCH02

Step-by-Step

  1. Navigate to the installer path on the server.
  2. Double-click the installer executable.
  3. In the installer interface, go to the Services section.
  4. Click Stop Services — gracefully shuts down all services.
  5. Once all services are stopped, click Start Services.
  6. Optionally check the Admin Centre to confirm all services are running.

Manual Service Start Order (if needed)

If manually starting services individually: 1. Discovery Service — start first 2. Identity Service — start second 3. All others — in alphabetical order

Quick Tips

  • Always use the installer — it handles the correct start order automatically.
  • If a service stopped abnormally, check the Admin Centre for troubleshooting information.
  • Service configuration passwords are stored in LastPass — replace them if a configuration settings change is needed.
